日本众议院

　　日本众议院是构成日本国会的议院之一，众议院与参议院共同组成两院制的日本国会，众议院议员的任期为四年，较参议院的六年为短，但由于众议院有途中解散的制度，因而被认为较能忠实地反映民意，故相对于参议院而言众议院拥有较高的地位。

　　日本国会是由两个拥有各自的议决权的议院所组成，由这两个议院议决而形成议会一致的决议，这种制度被称为两院制，一般众议院中多数党领袖担任首相一职。日本众议院议员的任期为四年，较参议院的六年任期稍短。但由于日本众议院有途中解散的制度，被认为较能忠实地反映民意，故相对于参议院而言，日本众议院拥有较高的地位和较大的权力(日本众议院优越制)。内阁有权解散日本众议院。若日本众议院通过内阁不信任案(或否决内阁信任案)时，内阁若十日以内不解散日本众议院则必须总辞。日本的立法机关包括了由人民选举产生的480席的日本众议院。日本众议院议员任期四年，首相有权解散日本众议院。参议院拥有242席，任期六年，每三年改选一半，不得中途解散。
