Observer

　　Observer是英国创刊最早的星期日报纸，该报消息比较灵通，常有一些独家新闻;大块文章较多，在中上层知识分子中颇有市场。创刊于1791年，由伦罗报业公司属下的观察家有限公司出版。

　　《观察家报》自1791年12月4日创刊以来，220年来一直在新闻报导上不懈追求，力求真实，精益求精，二百多年来经久不衰。《观察家报》在英国的全球地位上，挑战了读者的假设，而且关于生活在由两个超级核大国主宰的战后世界，提出了不少尖锐问题。后来继承的各个报纸领导人，也都秉承了其自由新闻的传统;直到今天，皈依于卫报传媒集团(Guardian

Observer is the earliest Sunday newspaper in Britain, which is well-informed and often has some exclusive news; there are many large articles and there is a market among the middle and upper-class intellectuals. Founded in 1791, it is published by Observer Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Lunro Newspapers.

Since its publication on December 4, 1791, the Observer has been unremittingly pursuing news reports for 220 years, striving for truth and excellence, and has been enduring for more than 200 years. The Observer challenges readers’ assumptions about Britain’s global position and asks tough questions about living in a postwar world dominated by two nuclear superpowers. All the newspaper leaders who later inherited also inherited their tradition of free press; to this day, they have converted to the Guardian Media Group (Guardian).
