Times，简称FT)是培生集团旗下一份国际报纸，一般大众对其评价颇高，公信力享誉全球。总部设于伦敦，每日发行量45万份，于英国、欧洲大陆、美国及亚洲印有当地英文版本。《金融时报》一般分两大叠。第一叠主要报道世界各地时事新闻，第二叠则详细报道各地商业及财经新闻。周六版的《金融时报》设有文化、艺术、活动等专版。

　　FT中文网是金融时报旗下，为中国大陆读者推出一个商业财经网站，支持繁简两种中文，在中国大陆可以直接访问。这是英国金融时报开设的第二家外语网站，晚于金融时报德语版。FT中文网在中国大陆的新浪微博和腾讯微博注册了自己的账号。一般周一到周五更新。周末和节假日休息，如果有重要新闻，会发布少量文章。

　　由于中国政策原因，外国报纸不能直接在中国大陆地区印刷，所以只能在香港或其他地方印刷后运往大陆销售，中间有较大的时间滞后。因而，FT中文网的推出，受到了中国大陆读者的欢迎。

Headquartered in London, with a daily circulation of 450000 copies, local English versions are printed in the United Kingdom, continental Europe, the United States and Asia. The Financial Times is generally divided into two stacks. The first edition mainly covers current events around the world, while the second edition reports in detail on business and financial news around the world. Saturday’s edition of the Financial Times has a special section on culture, art, activities and so on.

FT Chinese website, a subsidiary of the Financial Times, has launched a commercial and financial website for Chinese mainland readers. It supports both complex and simplified Chinese and can be accessed directly from Chinese mainland. This is the second foreign language website opened by the Financial Times, later than the German version of the Financial Times. FT has registered its own accounts on Chinese mainland’s Sina Weibo and Tencent Weibo. It is usually updated from Monday to Friday. Rest on weekends and holidays, if there is important news, a small number of articles will be published.

Due to China’s policy, foreign newspapers cannot be printed directly in Chinese mainland, so they can only be printed in Hong Kong or other places and shipped to the mainland for sale, with a big time lag. Therefore, the launch of FT Chinese network has been welcomed by Chinese mainland readers.
