　　IED设计学院主要设计专业有工业设计、平面设计、电脑图形、服装设计、首饰设计、插图、摄影、室内设计和场景设计等。该学院还设有一个科研中心，是一个观察、实验、教学、实习工作的结合体。该中心重视新材料研究和新产品开发。学院的教学宗旨是强调知识和实践有机结合。教学内容随欧洲市场的变化而随时调整，以适应市场需求。

The main design majors of IED Design School are industrial design, graphic design, computer graphics, clothing design, jewelry design, illustration, photography, interior design and scene design. The college also has a scientific research center, which is a combination of observation, experiment, teaching and practice. The center attaches importance to the research of new materials and the development of new products. The teaching purpose of the college is to emphasize the organic combination of knowledge and practice. The teaching content will be adjusted at any time to meet the needs of the European market.

The IED College is dedicated to education and research in the fields of design, fashion, visual arts, management and communication. Today it is a growing network of international schools. Since 2011, students applying for undergraduate courses at the European Institute of Design will receive a bachelor’s degree certified by the Italian Ministry of Education.

The European School of Design now has nine campuses located in Milan, Rome, Turin, Venice, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Each campus adopts the concept and teaching methods of the IED Group: each sub-campus meets the global standards of IED, but it has its own characteristics, so that the courses are in line with the local economic and social situation.

Milan, Rome, Turin, Venice, Madrid, Barcelona and Sao Paulo have four schools in design: IED Fashion, IED Design, IED Visual Arts and IED Communication.
