Arts(简称南艺)成立于1938年，前身是南洋美术专科学校。1999年被新加坡政府提升为同等于政府理工学院，接受教育部津贴。如今，新加坡南洋艺术学院已发展成一所拥有1600名全日制学生和3000名非全日制学生且专业门类齐全的艺术学府。耗资一亿一千五百万新元建造的南艺新教学楼已于2004年7月中旬投入使用。

　　南洋艺术学院是一所在海内外备受承认，国际上享有崇高声誉的艺术学府，是毕业生继续深造的高等学府。新加坡南洋艺术学院新校舍分为三座：行政楼与视觉艺术学校、服装专科学校、表演艺术学校及少年儿童艺术学校。开设的专业有：纯美术、室内设计、平面设计、戏剧表演、音乐、舞蹈、艺术管理(表演艺术)、服装设计、服装行销及市场学。

Nanyang Academy of Fine, Nanyang Art College, Singapore

Arts (Nanyi for short) was founded in 1938, formerly known as Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. In 1999, it was promoted by the Singapore government to be equivalent to the Government Polytechnic and received a subsidy from the Ministry of Education. Today, the Nanyang Academy of Arts in Singapore has developed into an art institution with 1600 full-time students and 3000 part-time students. The Nanyi New Teaching Building, which was built at a cost of S $115 million, was put into use in mid-July 2004.

Nanyang Art Institute is an art institution that is well recognized at home and abroad and enjoys a high reputation in the world.
