　　奥地利国家图书馆(Österreichische
Nationalbibliothek)是奥地利最大的图书馆，同时也是奥地利人引以为傲的恢宏建筑，位于维也纳的霍夫堡皇宫。图书馆历史十分悠久，早在1723年，泰瑞莎女皇就将皇宫的三分之一改建成了国家图书馆，距今也已有四百多年的历史，馆内拥有丰富藏书与展品，其图书收藏最早记载是在14世纪。

　　奥地利国家图书馆是一座典型的巴洛克式建筑，中央是一个椭圆形的大厅，两侧则是长形的展厅，大理石的柱子和五彩缤纷的天顶装饰令人啧啧称叹。图书馆的藏品包括图书报刊、善本手稿、古版书、音像制品等八个大类。除此之外，莎草纸、手稿、古本和珍本、地图、地球仪、世界语和其他语言的著作等藏品，也为科学研究作出了不小贡献。
