　　除了名家画作外，橘园温室(Orangerie)由建筑师菲尔曼.布儒瓦(Firmin Bourgeois)建于1852
年，里面栽种有杜伊勒里花园(Jardin des Tuileries)内生长的橘树。橘园温室曾经作为仓库使用，后来在1921年并入美术学院(Ecole des
Beaux Arts)，美院决定效仿网球场美术馆(Jeu de Paume)的例子将其改建为一个展览场地。
