　　卢森堡其实上一个历史悠久的国家，早在公元三世纪，已有人在此定居，至公元963年，古罗马帝国阿登公爵之弟西烈弗鲁克，在河畔建了一座城堡，称为卢泽尔堡，意思是小城堡。后渐成市镇。公元1347年，卢泽尔堡升格为大公国，而名称亦渐在传闻中改变，成为今日的卢森堡大公国。
