国立国际美术馆

　　国立国际美术馆于1977年开馆，目的主要在于收藏、保管、展出以现代美术为中心的作品，并从事有关的调查研究和业务。建筑物有效利用了1970年举办日本世界博览会时所建的世博美术馆，处于收藏库狭窄、设施老化等原因，此次在大阪市中之岛西部地区新建了完全地下型的美术馆，并正式移交使用。

National International gallery Museum opened in 1977, the main purpose is to collect, keep, display works centered on modern art, and engage in related research and business. The building makes effective use of the Expo gallery built when the World Expo was held in Japan in 1970. due to the narrow collection and aging facilities, a completely underground gallery was built in the western part of Nakajima, Osaka City, and officially handed over for use.
