　　新加坡艺术博物馆(SAM)是20世纪东南亚地区艺术的最大收藏地之一，开放于1996年，馆藏无数现代和当代东南亚艺术珍品，在展示本土和国际艺术特色方面首屈一指，展现了颇具前沿风尚的艺术表现手法。通过与诸多国际与文化机构的战略性合作，新加坡艺术博物馆一直是文艺界的推手，在推动视觉艺术教育、交流、研究和发展方面成绩斐然。2011年新加坡双年展便是由新加坡艺术博物馆主办。

The Singapore Museum of Art (SAM) is one of the largest collections of art in Southeast Asia in the 20th century. Opened in 1996, the Singapore Museum of Art has a collection of numerous modern and contemporary Southeast Asian art treasures, which is second to none in displaying local and international artistic characteristics, showing cutting-edge artistic expressions. Through strategic cooperation with many international and cultural institutions, the Singapore Art Museum has always been the driving force of the literary and art circles and has made remarkable achievements in promoting visual arts education, exchange, research and development. The 2011 Singapore Biennale is hosted by the Singapore Museum of Art.
