　　星空联盟(Star
Alliance)是世界上第一家全球性航空公司联盟，成立于1997年，总部在德国法兰克福，旨在将航线网络、贵宾候机室、值机服务、票务及其他服务融为一体，目前拥有28家正式成员，航线涵盖了192个国家以及1330个机场。

　　星空联盟主要的合作方式包括了扩大代码共享(Code-Sharing)规模，常旅客计划(Frequent Flyer Program,
FFP)的点数分享，航线分布网的串连与飞行时间表的协调，在各地机场的服务柜台与贵宾室共享，与共同执行形象提升活动。相对于航空公司之间的复杂合作方式，对于一般的搭机旅客来说，要使用星空联盟的服务则比较简单，只需申办成员航空公司提供的独立常旅客计划中的任何一个(重复申办不同公司的FFP并没有累加作用)，就可以将搭乘不同航空公司班机的里程累积在同一个FFP里。

　　除此之外，原本是跨公司的转机延远航段也被视为是同一家公司内部航线的衔接，因此在票价上较有机会享有更多优惠。星空联盟优惠包括：常旅客计划、星空联盟金卡/银卡等级、贵宾休息室、获得里程数/积分、星空联盟奖励、星空联盟升级奖励、转机、同一屋檐计划(成员航空公司在同一航站楼运营)
