过去十年里除了有一年待在了日本，其余时间Anders都把哥本哈根当成自己的家。丹麦人以hygge艺术而出名(hygge是丹麦语，平和、舒适之意，也代表着一种亲近自然的生活态度)，室内空间常给人以温馨舒适、易于亲近之感，而这对于考虑到客人、客户(包括他自己)的Anders来说恰恰非常重要。

Hygge意味着室内拥有严谨的地角灯(没有自上而下的吊灯)，同时纳入植物、书本、柔软织物以及诸如原木或羊毛等天然材料。Anders家中的房间风格迥异，因为他喜欢每个房间给人以不同的感觉，然而对于19世纪50年代糅杂了各种纺织品、民族风小物和复古收藏品的现代斯堪的纳维亚风格却情有独钟，他喜欢买有历史、有个性的旧物。
