IFPI

　　国际唱片业协会(简称IFPI)是一个代表全球唱片业的国际组织，于1933年在意大利成立，是代表全球唱片业的国际组织。协会是非盈利性机构，由其成员、附属国家协会及机构提供财政支持。以保护著作权为宗旨的非政府间国际组织，其活动是围绕着保护其会员的著作权及其有关权利而进行的。

　　国际唱片业协会(简称IFPI)总部设在瑞士苏黎世，秘书处设在英国伦敦，并在布鲁塞尔、香港、迈阿密和莫斯科设有地区总部。IFPI东南亚地区办事处设在香港，并在北京、新加坡和韩国分设办事处;位于布鲁塞尔的欧洲办事处直接联系欧盟，并负责协调欧洲唱片业;IFPI在东欧的莫斯科、索非亚和华沙也设有办事处。

　　IFPI的会员来自世界72个国家1400多家唱片制造商和唱片发行商，占据了全球绝大部分音乐市场份额，同时还拥有美国唱片协会(RIAA)、拉丁美洲唱片录影协会(FLAPF)等44个国家协会。大至国际性的唱片公司，小至发行量有限的小型独立制造商，都是IFPI的会员公司。

　　IFPI还致力于建立唱片业所需要的和谐环境。为达到这一目的，协会代表唱片业与各国政府和政府间组织进行联络，并组织和协调反盗版活动，提供与行业有关的信息，以保护会员公司的利益。

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) is an international organization representing the global recording industry. It was founded in Italy in 1933 and represents the global recording industry. The Association is a non-profit organization with financial support from its members, affiliated national associations and institutions. The activities of international non-governmental organizations with the purpose of protecting copyright revolve around the protection of the copyright and related rights of their members.

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, with a secretariat in London, UK, and regional headquarters in Brussels, Hong Kong, Miami and Moscow. The IFPI Southeast Asian Regional Office is located in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing, Singapore and South Korea; the European Office in Brussels is directly linked to the European Union and is responsible for coordinating the European recording industry; and IFPI also has offices in Moscow, Sofia and Warsaw in Eastern Europe.

IFPI’s members come from more than 1400 record manufacturers and publishers from 72 countries around the world, accounting for the vast majority of the global music market. It also has 44 national associations, including the American recording Association (RIAA) and the Latin American Association of Phonograms and videos (FLAPF). From international record companies to small independent manufacturers with limited circulation, they are all member companies of IFPI.

IFPI is also committed to creating the harmonious environment that the recording industry needs. To this end, the Association liaises with governments and intergovernmental organizations on behalf of the recording industry, organizes and coordinates anti-piracy activities and provides industry-related information to protect the interests of member companies.
