Do you prefer to take pictures on your cell phone or SLR?
But on the other hand, we have to admit that with the improvement of the imaging quality of mobile phones, the card machine market has almost ceased to exist, and the SLR and micro-single market is no longer for ordinary consumers, more is sold to professional users. From this point of view, the mobile phone surpasses the SLR in taking pictures..
Does the phone surpass the DSLR? My personal point of view is that from the perspective of picture quality, it is really difficult for mobile phones to surpass the SLR at present. After all, lens quality and CMOS size are all hard wounds that mobile phones cannot solve. For the vast majority of users, the need to take photos is to record and share with them, especially on mobile devices. In this case, the portability and ease of use of mobile phones are better than DSLRs.
So,I think each has its own advantages in taking photos by mobile phone and taking photos by SLR.However, compared with the progress of the SLR in the past 10 years, mobile phone photography is rapidly narrowing the difference between the SLR and the SLR by means of CMOS, lens components, Ai algorithms and so on. I have also found some sample photos of mobile phone evaluation in recent years, and you can feel it.

Since the pictures are compressed photos, many details can no longer be distinguished, but it is not difficult to see that after 2018, the daytime landscape photos taken by mobile phones are not very different from those taken by SLR..Of course, if you like to enjoy the original picture alone on your computer and enjoy 100% magnification, then the advantage of the DSLR is still greater than that of the mobile phone.
What technologies have mobile phones used to improve the shooting level in recent years? We might as well do a simple inventory to see if these technologies have any advantages over DSLRs.
The mobile phone changes from fully automatic photography to professional manual mode, and provides RAW format files.
First of all, the biggest difference between the mobile phone and the SLR before is that the phone takes pictures automatically, and the DSLR can set the shutter, aperture and sensitivity according to its own needs.
The handset professional mode is more controllable than the card machine.
Because some special photography scenes need the support of shutter speed, early mobile phones could not set shutter speed manually, so many scenes could not be filmed. With the increase of user demand, many mobile phones also have professional mode options, and shutter speed, ISO and aperture can be adjusted as freely as DSLR.
And some professional camera phones also provide the same RAW format as the camera, which allows photos to keep more details and facilitate later adjustment.
More and more mobile phone lenses are equipped with standard lenses, telephoto lenses, ultra-wide-angle lenses and macro lenses.
In the earliest days, mobile phones were designed with a single camera, which obviously could not meet the needs of users to take pictures. Through the SLR, we can see that different shooting scenes will have different uses of the lens, and the mobile phone is obviously get to this point, now the design of three shots and four shots are basically standard.

Leica and Hasu image manufacturers cooperate with AI photo optimization algorithm to save the trouble in the later stage of ps
Anyone who has used a SLR camera knows that although the photos taken by the SLR are clear, it is still impossible to achieve a good visual effect if you do not use post-software color adjustment and retouching.
So using a SLR basically requires a later stage, which is very unfriendly for novice photographers, which is not only impossible to start, but also time-consuming.
However, for today’s mobile phones, users do not seem to have to worry too much about the later stage. Many mobile phone brands will use some color blending algorithms in the later stage and cooperate with large image manufacturers to automatically generate a late-stage photo after taking a picture. This greatly reduces the user’s time and energy in the later stage, and makes it easier to use.
In addition, there are some noise reduction optimization for the night scene, anti-shake optimization and so on. In short, using SLR photography requires a variety of functions, the mobile phone can basically help you to optimize automatically.
The quality of the main camera of the mobile phone is improved and the size of CMOS is constantly refreshed.
The advantage of mobile phone lies in the software, but for the mobile phone camera itself, the upgrading of mobile phone hardware technology is also constantly improving.
A product with a 1-inch bottom has already appeared on the mobile phone.
It is said that the bottom level is overwhelming. In fact, although the CMOS of the mobile phone cannot compete with the CMOS size of the micro-SLR and DSLR, the camera CMOS size of the flagship mobile phone is already very large.
Therefore, even in terms of picture quality itself, regardless of the algorithm, the performance of mobile phones in hardware has been greatly improved in recent years.
Conclusion: different needs, no matter who is good or bad, but the progress of mobile phone photography is obvious to all.
I think although mobile phone shooting can not really crush the DSLR at present, it is infinitely close to the DSLR from the point of view of the updated function. For example, the improvement of picture quality, the improvement of night scene ability, and even the effect of out-of-focus virtual effect, as well as the ability of length, light and micro, the mobile phone looks more comprehensive, and the key is that it is more convenient and can be photographed easily.
As for the SLR, the portability is completely defeated in the first place. Any combination of full shot and professional lens should be at least above 1KG, and the weight is 5-10 times that of the mobile phone, so that many people do not have the courage to take it out.
However, the analytical power of SLR lens and strong picture quality and handling are incomparable to mobile phones. For professional photographers, mobile phones can not fully replace DSLRs.
I think take what you need, if you are daily use, social sharing, I think the phone is enough, if it is professional photography, the pursuit of picture quality, then the SLR is naturally a better choice.
