越用越慢的手机
手机变慢这个问题只要手机用的时间够长就一定会遇到。然而今天的处理器显然不是算力问题，那么变慢的核心在哪儿呢？就笔者的经验来说，在于碎文件太多了，这种碎文件，主要是各种群里的图片文件的缓存、视频缓存、缩略图、各种表情包等等。
手机用的NAND现在主流普遍都是UFS协议，eMMC已经基本淘汰了
手机的ROM，类型上是NAND闪存，使用的协议普遍都是UFS。但其实您看所有的发布会PPT，都会有专门的宣传，高速你手机的UFS3.1有多快，但这个数据普遍都是针对大文件的，持续传输1700MB/s、随机读写200-3000MB/s左右。但碎片文件呢？没有人会告诉你。
半导体存储要看4K随机读写的能力
我们从同样的SSD上可以看到端倪。懂SSD的人，不会去看峰值的读写速度，只会看4K的读写能力，但UFS3.1的4K能力没什么测。当你手机的各种微信群各种表情包、图片轰炸的时候，就是手机变慢的时候。

如果您看微信的升级功能介绍，几乎都是千篇一律的“修复了一些已知问题。”如果你手机用上半年一年，在通用-存储空间统计的时候，你会发现以前的微信版本，统计的非常慢，动辄需要几个小时，我的微信有100多GB，统计一宿也没结果。
臃肿的微信
但8.0.22改善了这个能力，统计速度变快很多，过去N个小时，现在只要几分钟就能统计出来。并且会把文件占用空间分为3种类型：缓存、聊天记录、其它数据。
清理之后“只有”60多GB的微信
在这里面，缓存是可以清理的、聊天记录可以按照群或是个人针对性的清理、其它数据不可清理。笔者这次清理了70GB左右的聊天数据，其中不少聊天记录，是接续备份的，甚至可以追溯到七八年以前，一个活跃群十几GB很正常。
这些数据其实都是死数据。大量缓存的表情、图像缩略、图像、视频缩略、几秒到一两分钟的各种视频文件。它们都在拖累手机速度。我自己的手机剩余可用空间从几百MB，陡然增加到了66.5GB！空间变多并不是直观感受，直观的感受是随着清理的进行，速度会明显的提升。我个人除了关键的工作相关的群，其它群的信息全部清理之后，手机的响应速度变得飞快！
为什么要用微信自带的？
清理手机的软件不是没有，但为什么要用微信自带的？道理很简单，因为微信自带的可以具体清理到每个群或是个人的会话。但第三方软件普遍属于“六亲不认”，只能告诉你图片有占了多少、视频占了多少，你要不要都删除了，这种粗糙的对待显然是不行的。

微信升级之后提升了统计速度和清理速度，应该是微信团队也意识到了这个问题是困扰用户的一个痛点，可以专项的清理，不再成为整个系统的拖累，哪怕你的手机配置不高、只要及时清理聊天记录里的文件，就一样可以常用常新。

If you look at the introduction of Wechat’s upgraded features, it’s almost always the same “fixed some known problems.” If you use your mobile phone for the first half of a year, in the general storage space statistics, you will find that the previous Wechat version, statistics are very slow, often take a few hours, my Wechat has more than 100 GB, statistics do not work overnight.

But 8.0.22 has improved this ability, and the statistical speed has become much faster. In the past N hours, it only takes a few minutes to count it out. And the file space will be divided into three types: cache, chat history, and other data.
After cleaning up, there is only “only” more than 60 GB of Wechat.
In this, the cache can be cleaned, chat records can be cleaned according to groups or individuals, and other data can not be cleaned. The author cleaned up the chat data around 70GB this time, and many of the chat records were backed up continuously, even dating back to seven or eight years ago, an active group of more than ten GB is very normal.
These data are actually dead data. A large number of cached facial expressions, image thumbnails, video thumbnails, a variety of video files ranging from a few seconds to a minute or two. They are all dragging down the speed of mobile phones. The remaining free space on my own mobile phone has suddenly increased from a few hundred MB to 66.5GB! More space is not an intuitive feeling, intuitive feeling is that with the progress of cleaning, the speed will be significantly improved. I personally, except for the key work-related groups, after all the information of other groups has been cleaned up, the response speed of the mobile phone has become very fast!
Why use Wechat to bring it?
There is no software to clean up your phone, but why use Wechat’s own software? The reason is simple, because Wechat comes with can be specifically cleaned up to each group or individual conversation. But third-party software generally belongs to “six relatives do not recognize”, can only tell you how many pictures, videos account for how much, you want to delete all, this kind of rough treatment is obviously not good.
