东航公告表示，拟定增募资不超过150亿元，用于引进38架飞机及补充流动资金，新引进飞机预计于2022年-2024年交付。
公告显示，计划引进的38架飞机，包括4架C919飞机、24架ARJ21-700飞机、6架A350-900飞机及4架B787-9飞机，本次募集资金引进的飞机已取得民航局批复的规划文件。
从公告来看，C919的目录单价是0.99亿美元，人民币目录单价是6.53亿元，这个价格要比欧美的大飞机要便宜一些，波音、空客同类型的飞机目录价通常在1亿美元多点，具体看不同的配置，国产C919大飞机价格有一定优势，当然也不会便宜太多，毕竟新技术更多。
东航是国产大飞机 C919 全球首家启动用户，已与中国商飞签署首批 C919 大型客机购机合同。
国产的C919大飞机是由中国商用飞机有限责任公司研制的一款168-190座级窄体干线客机，专为短程到中程的航线设计，属于单通道150座级，标配168个座位，最多可容纳190个座位，学名为“中短程双发动机窄体民用运输机”。
根据C919大型客机总设计师吴光辉的消息，2019年6架C919试飞飞机已全部投入取证试飞工作，在上海、西安、东营、南昌等地的六机四地试飞工作正顺利进行。目前，国内外用户达到28家，订单总数达到815架。

China Eastern Airlines is the first domestic large aircraft C919 to start users in the world, and has signed the first batch of C919 large passenger aircraft purchase contracts with Comac.

At present, the number of domestic and foreign users has reached 28, and the total number of orders has reached 815.
