IC Insights：2022年全球半导体研发支出将继续增长9% 再破纪录

根据IC Insights即将发布的《2022年麦克林报告第二季度更新》，预计2022年全球半导体公司的研发支出将增长9%至805亿美元，在2022年-2026年间将以5.5%的CAGR增长至1086亿美元。报告显示，2021年全球半导体公司的研发支出达到增长13%以上，达到创纪录的714亿美元，英特尔以152亿美元（增长12%）的历史最高研发支出继续位居首位，约占整个行业的19%。

作为对比，2020年，英特尔的研发支出仅增长1%，而2019年则下降了1%。

三星排名第二，其支出在2020年增长23%后，增长了13%，预计达到65亿美元。这家韩国内存巨头加快了在前沿逻辑工艺（5nm及以下）上的研发支出，以增强于台积电的竞争。后者在2020年将研发支出提高26%后，于2021将研发支出提高了20%，达到约45亿美元。

By contrast, Intel’s R & D spending grew by just 1% in 2020 and fell by 1% in 2019.

Samsung came in second, with spending rising 13% after growing 23% in 2020, and is expected to reach $6.5 billion. The South Korean memory giant has accelerated its R & D spending on cutting-edge logic processes (5nm and below) to enhance competition with TSMC. After increasing R & D spending by 26% in 2020, the latter increased R & D spending by 20% to about $4.5 billion in 2021.

In 2021, 21 semiconductor suppliers spent more than $1 billion on research and development, compared with 19 in 2020. Total R & D spending by the top 10 companies increased 18 per cent to $52.6 billion, accounting for about 65 per cent of total R & D in the industry. Upcoming second-quarter figures show that the top 10 companies had an R & D / sales ratio of 13.5% in 2021, compared with 14.5% in 2020. (proofread / Yindlich)
