The updated version of the digital RMB App is iOS1.0.12 and Android 184.108.40.206. The update page says: “the digital RMB payment service has been upgraded!” Adding a bank card to your wallet makes it more convenient to charge as you use it. “
According to App, the “charge as you go” function means that when a digital RMB wallet is associated with a bank card, if the balance is insufficient (including payment with a sub-wallet in the merchant), it will automatically recharge from the associated bank card to the wallet and complete the payment, the amount of which is the supplementary part of the payment; if it is associated with multiple bank cards, it will try to recharge according to the bank card order. If users do not want to use this function, they can turn off the “bank card debit switch” in “Wallet Management”-“Bank Card Management”.
App related instructions also give specific examples: for example, if you buy goods worth 100 yuan, there is only 90 yuan in the balance of the wallet, and the wallet has been associated with a bank card, the system will automatically deduct 10 yuan from the bank card to recharge the wallet and complete the payment. If multiple bank cards are associated and the first bank card fails to recharge, the system will continue to attempt to recharge the wallet from the second bank card until the charging is successful or all bank cards fail.
Thepaper.cn noticed that after the wallet has added a bank card, it will display information about the new function of bank card deduction, such as the original return of payment failure, the adjustable order of bank card deduction, and so on. Specifically include: if you are related to multiple bank cards, you will try to recharge money in accordance with the bank card order; if you fail to pay after recharging, the funds deducted from the bank card will be returned to the bank card; if you need to adjust the bank card deduction order, you can go to “my”-“wallet management”-“choose wallet”-“bank card management” to set up.
