S7 Not Turning On Moisture Detected In Charging Port
Hi there, I have a samsung S7 that is exactly 2 years old. It has never had any issues. I did drop it an crack the screen 6 months ago but everything has still worked perfectly since. Yesterday when i went to charge the phone it says there was moisture in the charging point. It had not been anywhere near liquid. I dried out the port and even switched the charger and tried the vacuum cleaner but no luck. The phone is now dead and wont turn on at all, and is still unresponsive when plugged in. Do you have any advice before I take it to a repair shop? Thanks very much.
The best thing that you can do right now is to first clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air then charge it using a different charging cord and wall charger for at least 20 minutes. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port. Once the phone charges turn it on by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then this is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component already in which case you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S7 Not Turning On
hello! my samsung was a bit laggy before it happened so i restarted it and it went in a restart loop and never got out of it now i can not turn it on or restart it at all, i have tried every combination of your suggestions from your website and it doesn’t even show the samsung logo as if it is not turning on at all! thank you very much for helping me!!!
Hi,I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. Yesterday I put my phone down on the table, went back to it 1 hour later and it was not responding. It had a solid blue light visible. Tried to do a forced reboot – Nothing. Left the battery to drain overnight and plug the charger in when I woke up – Nothing, it won’t acknowledge the charge. Any ideas what to do next? Is there anything left to try? Recently had a system update, but no idea what my operating system is
I had my phone in my apron at work & spilled a cup of water on me, my apron pocket with phone in it held some water. I took it out and it didn’t seem that wet so I let it sit for a while. I turned on the phone and the screen was very dim and wouldn’t respond to touch when I tried to enter passcode. So I turned it back off and later when I got home it wouldn’t even come on. When connecting charger, the light at top doesn’t even come on indicating that it’s charging. The sticker that turns red is only red on half of it. So I’m assuming it didn’t get submerged. How do I get it to power on?
The best thing that you should do right now is to make sure that the battery of the phone has sufficient charge. To do this you should clean the charging port of the phone first using a can of compressed air then charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger. If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also check if the phone can charge from a computer USB port. With the phone still connected to the charger you should try turning it on. If the problem persists then you should have this checked at a service center as this could already be caused by a faulty hardware component.
S7 Turned Off Not Turning Back On
My Samsung Galaxy S7 turned off all of sudden and doesn’t turn back on, even after attempting to restart by pressing on the start button for more than 20 seconds, or by keeping the volume down button and briefly pressing the on button at the same time. I believe the issue is the lack of memory, as I only have 200MB left on my phone. Unfortunately, I do not know how to create some space without turning on the phone. Your help would be very much appreciated.
The best thing that you can do right now is to charge the phone first for at least 20 minutes using its wall charger. In case the phone does not charge then try cleaning the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air then use a different charging cord and wall charger to charge the phone. Once the phone has charged try turning it on. If it doesn’t turn on then you will have to bring this to a service center and have it checked.
