长江白鲟灭绝 最后的活体影像公布

7月21日，世界自然保护联盟（IUCN）宣布长江特有物种白鲟已经灭绝，这种鱼有着“中国淡水鱼之王”之称，白鲟体型硕大，可达七八米长。长江白鲟是距今已有一亿五千万年的中生代白垩纪残存下来的极少数古代鱼类之一。

1989年，白鲟被列为国家一级保护野生动物，于1996年被世界自然保护联盟（IUCN）列为“极危级”，2009年再次评估时被确定为“极危（可能灭绝）”。

国内上一次发现长江白鲟活体还是2003年，当年1月24日，四川宜宾渔民误捕了一头3.5米长的长江白鲟，身上还带着伤口，腹中还发现了鱼卵，最后缝了24针。

专家赶来救助受伤白鲟，白鲟恢复后，被放回了长江，留下的影像成为最后的记忆。

Experts came to rescue the injured White Sturgeon. After recovering, the White Sturgeon was released back to the Yangtze River, and the image left became the last memory.
