空间音频可操控扬声器或耳机所产生的音效，让声音听起来像是环绕在用户的四周，Netflix是与知名的音频设备品牌Sennheiser合作，采用Sennheiser所开发的AMBEO 2-Channel Spatial Audio技术，将声音转换成拥有3D感的空间音频，而Netflix也是AMBEO 2-Channel Spatial Audio系统的首家用户。
Sennheiser说明，AMBEO 2-Channel Spatial Audio是个身临其境的双声道渲染，可直接用来取代立体声，它可改善各种立体声的声音体验，从电视、立体声系统、耳机、平板电脑到笔电等。
Netflix也已将AMBEO 2-Channel Spatial Audio作为任何使用双声道的预设音效，因此，当用户以立体声观赏节目或电影时，若相关内容支持空间音频，即会自动启用。用户也可于Netflix搜索框中输入“空间音频”来寻找已支持该声音效果的节目或视频。
不过，空间音频主要是用来改善立体声音频，若用户家中已配置环绕音效扬声器，Netflix依然建议用户以5.1 环绕音效或 Dolby Atmos 观赏节目与电影。

According to Sennheiser, AMBEO 2-Channel Spatial Audio is an immersive dual-channel rendering that can be directly used to replace stereo. It can improve the sound experience of all kinds of stereo, from televisions, stereo systems, headphones, tablets to laptops.
Netflix has also used AMBEO 2-Channel Spatial Audio as a default sound effect for any dual-channel use, so when users watch a program or movie in stereo, if the relevant content supports spatial audio, it will be automatically enabled. Users can also enter “Spatial Audio” in the Netflix search box to find programs or videos that already support the sound effect.
However, spatial audio is mainly used to improve stereo audio, and Netflix still recommends that users watch programs and movies at 5.1 surround sound or Dolby Atmos if their homes are equipped with surround sound speakers.
