LG X Power 2 with large 4,500 mAh battery coming soon to Sprint

The US rollout of the mid-range LG X Power 2 started back in May, but it has yet to hit some carriers in the country. Although a report claimed the LG X Power 2 could be offered by U.S. Cellular
, even before the South Korean company announced the smartphone, it didn’t happen yet.

Today, we have new information about theLG X Power 2, which suggests the phone could be en-route to Sprint. It appears that the handset has just been certified by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and thanks to the model number (LG SP320) we know it’s aimed at Sprint.

Since the smartphone was unveiled months ago and it’s already available for purchase in many countries, here is what you should expect specs-wise. First of all, the LG X Power 2 stands out from other mid-range Android phones due to the massive 4,500 mAh battery.

The LG X Power 2 is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, but the US version is likely to include a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425
CPU. Unlike the international model that packs 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, the US model will feature 2GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.

Other highlights of the phone include a 5.5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel selfie snapper and Android 7.0 Nougat.

We have yet to learn how much theLG X Power 2 will cost at Sprint, but there’s a high chance it will not go above $200.
