Snapseed is one of those rare apps that Google acquired and actually kept improving over time. The latest update to v2.13 adds more accurate display of images in RAW photos and a change to how image tuning tools are accessed. It's just starting to roll out, but we've got the APK handy too.
The controls for tuning images in Snapseed are efficient, but take some getting used to. Different tools are available by swiping up and down on the screen. Then, you simply swipe left and right to apply them to the image. You can still do that in the new version, but there's also a button at the bottom that opens a list of all the tools. Tap on one and you can swipe to apply. There's also a bar at the top that shows you the current intensity of the editing.
The other Android change has to do with RAW images. Previously, images taken with "creative" settings would display with the embedded color profiles instead of the default RAW colors. That could make editing difficult, but it's no longer a problem in the new update. If you want to grab the update before it his your device via the Play Store, we've got it on APK Mirror .
