We probably won’t see many new Android Wear devices this year , but there is one that many of us are waiting for: the ASUS ZenWatch 3. ASUS unveiled the smartwatch back in September, and it’s quite possibly the first time that an Android Wear smartwatch gets everything right – from design to price.

When you compare that to the prices of other smartwatches on the market right now, it’s a really good deal. For instance, the Gear S3 Classic is rumored to be priced at $400 or more, and even the year-old Huawei Watch ranges from $250 to $600 depending on the configuration. And unlike the previous ZenWatch devices, this year’s ZenWatch has a stunning design which features a jewelry-grade 316L stainless steel body.

Just to recall, the ZenWatch 3 will come with a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED display with a resolution of 400 x 400. It is powered by Qualcomm’s wearable-optimized processor, Snapdragon Wear 2100, and the 340 mAh battery is quite impressive for its size. Other than that, everything is pretty standard: 512MB of RAM coupled with 4GB of internal storage and the good ole IP67 certification. The ASUS ZenWatch 3 will come with 50 pre-loaded watch faces, and it would make sense for it to receive the Android Wear 2.0 update when and if Google decides to release that .
ASUS is getting busy to launch all sorts of products in the next few months, it seems. Just like the Zenfone 3 Deluxe Special Edition that’s coming this month and the ZenPad 3S 10 that’s launching alongside the ZenWatch 3 in November, the smartwatch will soon be available directly through ASUS’ official website .
