There are a number of SEO campaign tools and enterprise platforms that can help you achieve better SEO in 2015. I’ve ranked the Top 10, with focus on which features will reign supreme this year…

10. WebCEO

My favorite feature is the color-coded movement indicators, which makes data analysis less of a chore. I rank it slightly higher than WebCEO, if only for the 14 day trial period (which lets you try out the software before you commit). is a great choice for local SEO, with business listing management, and mobile search automation features available. It’s this emphasis on local that ranks it higher than GinzaMetrics on this countdown, allowing you to optimize your pages for individuals searching by

Raven is always updating its software, and has recently incorporated YouTube metrics tables to its dashboards and reports. One of its best features is the easy-to-use dashboard, where you can compare valuable key metrics in different categories. With the most important data all one screen, you don’t need to mess around searching for this information from different menus and sub menus.

6. Moz

is another SEO powerhouse that has many of the features you’ll find in Raven, as well as some extras. With an online community made up of more than one million digital marketers, it’s one of the biggest software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies on the web.

When it comes to competitive analysis, you’ll be able to access reports that detail the page authority and domain authority of your competition – something that Raven doesn’t currently offer. Then, there are all the keyword research tools you need to transform your pages, such as local-focused research tools, traffic estimation, keyword suggestions, and keyword difficulty.

Subscribe to the Pro plan to manage up to five different campaigns at once, and track keywords for each of them. You can even compare keywords with those competitors in your niche, giving insight into how well your sites are doing when it comes to traffic generation. Great for in-house SEO companies, Moz packages start from $99 per month.

5. Searchmetrics

Want to analyze directories, URLs and sub-domains? Receive traffic and conversion predictions? Monitor hundreds of millions of keywords? Searchmetrics
is your one-stop shop for detailed analysis of social media, SEO, and other valuable data that can increase your revenue and traffic.

Easy to use, and with full technical support, you can access the platform on your computer and mobile tablet – giving you much greater flexibility. Unlike Moz, Searchmetrics has language support in English, French, and German (one of its best features).

Other features include social visibility metrics, data for keywords and domains (and the opportunity to compare this data with that of your competitors), projected traffic reports for keywords and domains, organic and paid advertising metrics, onsite optimization reports, and backlink analysis.

You can also measure social signals across a wide range of platforms, including Google +, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

4. Hubspot

One of the SEO big guns, Hubspot

Great for link building, Hubspot lets you measure authority metrics, and discover inbound and internal links. Then of course, there’s all the reporting and tracking tools you will need for lead generation. Although this SEO platform is more expensive than Searchmetrics (starting price is $200 per month, compared to $69), you get a 30 day free trial so you can play around with the software before deciding if it’s right for you (something that Searchmetrics doesn’t offer).

Use the ‘difficulty rating’ tool to find out which keywords and phrases are providing the biggest return on your investment, and which pages on your website need a little more work. Then there’s the chance to create your own blog posts, whereby Hubspot will suggest the best keywords based on your content.

3. seoClarity

An enterprise-level tool that lets you monitor your SEO with 20/20 vision, seoClarity
is great for tracking every aspect of your on-page content. If you want to get your business on the first page of Google, seoClarity goes deeper than Hubspot when it comes to website auditing.

Its best feature?

Probably personalized dashboards, which only lets you see the data that you want. No mess, no fuss… just the SEO stats that you need (use the drag and drop feature to customize the interface). Then there’s City Rank, which lets you compare local search rankings in your part of the country. Prices start from $1999 per month, making this is a good bet for bigger businesses.

Use ‘backlinks report’ (which provides information generation from Moz and Majestic SEO) to find out the effectiveness of your backlinks, as well as those which are being used by your competitor. Use this feature to identify any domains that you might want to incorporate into your campaign.

2. BrightEdge

Similar in scope to seoClarity, BrightEdge
slightly edges it in terms of features (and it is the preferred choice of 6,000 global brands). BrightEdge does competitive analysis better than almost any other SEO platform, with information so detailed, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.

Expect stats about which of your pages are driving organic traffic, and which backlink strategies are providing the biggest bang for your buck. I also love how easy it is to integrate with BrightEdge (especially when it comes to social data, web analytics, and SEO).

The ‘blended rank’ feature will let you track the keywords that are performing the best across various platforms (eCommerce, Google images, Google Video etc.), so you have a comprehensive overview of each of your SEO campaigns.

1. Conductor

The big guy of SEO, Conductor
has so many features, it would be impossible to list them all in this article. Described as the “world’s leading SEO platform”, you can capitalize on new business opportunities with up to 10,000+ comparison domains, multi-account reporting, daily content visibility reporting, and BI platform integration.

However, my favorite feature is Searchlight, which provides you with social signals for Facebook likes, Google + clicks, Twitter mentions, and LinkedIn shares. In fact, Conductor places a bigger emphasis on social pages than Brightedge, rapidly responding to the latest changes in SEO.

Enterprise-level platforms make up my top three, and will be something that you will only want to invest in if you have a big enough business. If not, lighter (but just as effective) platforms like Moz and Hubspot can do the job, but on a much smaller scale.

However, to be one step ahead of your competitors (especially as SEO continues to expand and develop), an enterprise platform will provide you with the means to achieve success on the SERP. Detailed analysis and a wealth of valuable data are the norm with this type of software, with Conductor outranking everything else because of its major focus on social signals.
